My wife and I started dancing seriously in 1990 and by 1992 I was learning how to DJ for my dance club. Since then I have played fraternity parties, wedding receptions, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, and of course, all the local dance clubs: Music City Bop Club, Nashville BeBop Club, Nashville Swing Dance Club, Nashville Dance Club, Nashville Westies, and Nashville Shags. Naturally, I have an assortment of music: shag, east coast swing, Lindy, collegiate shag, oldies, stepping music, west coast swing, ballroom, pop, R&B. And yes, even Argentine tango.

For the past 17 years I have played for the American Bop Association’s annual cruise aboard Princess Cruise Line. In 2013 I was the proud recipient of the American Bop Association’s George Baer Award, for contributions to the American Bop Association’s ongoing success. I am a member of the Association of Beach and Shag Club DJs and the National Association of R&B DJs for which I am the current treasurer.
