CHRIS UREN

Chris Uren has been DJing since 1976. Initially in Clubs and Bars and then graduating to Radio Work. In 1995 Chris rejoined the world of dancing having been a Junior Ballroom dancer and took up Modern Jive. He was DJ for 4 different weekly clubs and regular freestyles and was eventually asked to DJ at national Weekenders and Championships.

In 2004 Chris started dancing and DJing for WCS which was in its infancy in the UK. Covid has kept Chris off the event decks for a while, but he is currently bringing to life his WCS radio station which is awaiting licensing in the UK for worldwide listening. His Motto: You’re only as good as the the last tune they danced to.
